NHS England: Clinical Prioritisation Advisory Group’s May meeting postponed

30 April 2020

NHS England have taken the decision to delay the May Clinical Prioritisation Advisory Group (CPAG) prioritisation meeting. NHS England team members and clinicians are focussed on the care of Covid-19 patients and planning through the epidemic.

NHS England has said that there are some key steps still to undertake before the CPAG meeting which will not be effectively delivered in the original planned timeline for the May meeting. The hope is that it will be possible to go ahead with CPAG prioritisation for 28th and 29th July.

This announcement comes alongside the postponement of NHS England Specialised Services Patient and Public Voice Assurance Group meetings too, as staff are deployed to work on the Covid-19 crisis.

Genetic Alliance UK has received notification of this information directly.
